These 2013 1.5 oz Canadian Silver Polar Bear and Cub coins continue the legacy of the new 1.5 oz Canadian Wildlife Series from the Royal Canadian Mint. Following the release of the first coin in 2013 featuring a solitary adult polar bear and the 2014 coin highlighting the arctic fox, this edition showcases the bond between a polar bear and its offspring.

Each coin in this product listing is in uncirculated condition, displaying no wear from circulation but may exhibit minor imperfections such as toning or discoloration, along with a subdued design strike.

The reverse of the coin depicts an adult polar bear leading its cub across the vast expanse of Canada’s arctic tundras. Engravings denote the nation of origin, the coin’s purity, and its metal content and weight.

On the obverse, Queen Elizabeth II’s familiar right-profile portrait, crafted by Susanna Blunt in 2003, adorns the coin. This iconic image has graced numerous Canadian bullion and proof coins over the past 12 years.
