The 50 Gram Valcambi Platinum CombiBar contains genuine .9995 pure platinum. These platinum bars are produced by Valcambi, a prestigious Swiss refiner of precious metals. Upon arrival, your bar will be housed in a sealed assay card, which also displays the assayer’s signature, certifying that the bars have been professionally inspected for both weight and purity. The bars can be removed from their sealed packaging and broken into 50 individual one-gram pieces, which could be useful for trade or bartering in a financial emergency.
Founded in 1961 as Valori and Cambi, Valcambi changed its name six years later to its current form. The company was acquired by Credit Suisse and later by European Gold Refineries SA. Valcambi produces a wide array of products, including CombiBars in gold, silver, platinum, and palladium. Aside from refining precious metals, they also provide assay, transportation, and storage services.
The obverse of each Valcambi Platinum CombiBar displays the brand logo, a stylized square framed with four triangles, along with the bar’s weight, metal type, and purity hallmarks. Please note that on the obverse, these details appear on each individual one-gram piece.
The reverse of the 50 Gram Platinum CombiBar features the serial number and additional information, including the Valcambi logo and the inscription “50 g, Platinum, 999,5.” These details are fully visible when all 50 pieces are assembled.
